The D-11 box has a USB-shaped connector that is really a "low speed
data port" (i.e. serial connection) so if you have this box, you need
a USB to serial adaptor, null modem, then serial to USB back into the
linux box. I have 2 boxes with 1 serial port each but I'd like both
D-11's to record on the same backend, so I might give this a try. I
happen to have an extra USB -> Serial adaptor, but it's not one of
the ones that is known to work with the D-11. I wonder if it will
still work on the machine side and put the known good one on the D-11
side. I guess I'll find out soon enough...
