Hi,

 Please forgive the double-posting if this also comes through from my M$
client.

 I’m looking into the possibility of using MythTV as the basis of a
multimedia (primarily audio) library system.

This is part of a bigger project where vintage recordings will be
digitally cleaned then entered into a database containing media
information.



The database will be accessed through frontends which should also be able
to play the audio files using a simple, intuitive interface (all of this
sound familiar?).



The only thing I am unsure of when it comes to myth is that each playback
should be recorded in the database (I am still a little unsure as the
whether the user needs to input any information (will find out in the
course of today).



Can anyone see any major obstacles to using Myth (or bits of it) in this
scenario?
