[mythtv-users] Gradual Recording Speed Up?

What would cause a recording that's being played back to gradually speed up
to the point where eventually the voices sound like chipmunks and video can
barely even be watch consciously...?

I'm running: Linux MythTV 2.6.14-gentoo-r5 #12 PREEMPT Thu Feb 2 20:11:49
EST 2006 i686 Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.53GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux MythTV
revision 8841. Any help is appreciated :)
