What about of changing the Database style of mythmusic to the one of mp3act 
and using this for the web part.

Becaus the database style of mp3act is much better (uses extra tables for 
artist, album name,...) so querys are faster (less data)...

The client plugin for mythtv also needs to be rewritten because it's slow, 
the ui need to be changed to libmythui and it has to use the mfd, so the web 
part needs not much work only some desing changes to mp3act...
