[mythtv-users] PVR 350 not matching sound for TV-channel

Hello everybody,

my MythTV-System nearly works perfect. Due to the fact that mplayer uses 
the audio-out of the sound card and cannot use the PVR350 for outputting 
sound I would like to use the PVR 350 sound-output as an input for my 
soundcard so that I can use the volume control of MythTV for watching TV 
and play DVDs with mplayer.

That should be a good plan. So I unchecked "use PVR 350 audio output" in 
the mythtv config, connected the PVR audio output to my soundcard input 
an thought everthing was fine until I realised that the sound I could 
hear did not match the tv-channel. When I change the TV-channel, the 
audio-track does neither change nor match the selected TV-channels.

Do you have any ideas? Software solutions preferred ;-).

I am thinking of opening the scart-connector and connect the audio-lines 
to my soundcard when the problem cannot be solved by software.
