It works on all programs with varying degrees of success. Actually,
if there were no cuts at the beginning or ending, it really didn't
work at all. It had no way to determine the length of the file
and cut out the appropriate sections. If it cut out the
sections, the audio got all screwed up or something else random
would happen. If a show has a cut at the beginning and end,
it worked about 95% of the time, which was good enough
for me and my kids, but not for my wife.

User configurable? Probably mildly involved. Hardcoded to
something other than 30 seconds (or whatever the default
is) - fairly easy. You just need to recompile mvpmc.
