X.org, definitely. XFree86, I *thought* so, but I may be mistaken --
I've got a bunch of different machines running different distros, so
it's hard to recall what feature came along when. However, this (
http://www.realvnc.com/products/free/4.1/x0.html ) link seems to
indicate that VNC module support is available for XFree86 4 installations.
