I too have a 4:3 HDTV. I force a 16:9 override in Myth. This keeps
16:9 content in its original format but forces 4:3 content to be
stretched. So for 16:9 content I tell my TV to go to Letterbox mode
and for 4:3 to go to Normal mode and everything works like a charm =)
