One day later......

I've come to the conclusion that the current ivtv drivers dislike having
a PVR350 and PVR500 in the same box, at least on my MythTV box and under
CentOS. I experienced alot of random lockups and static recordings. Good
stuff.

Final configuration that seams to be working fine:
Intel Celeron 2.6ghz
Intel D845GRG Motherboard
GeForce 4MX
Hauppauge PVR500 MCE
CentOS 4.2 (Basically RH EL4)
MythTV 18.1

Unfortunately I had been using the Hauppauge PVR350 w/Grey Remote for
controlling my box but with needing to remove the PVR350 and the
problems I experienced getting LIRC running (possibly related to using
the i2c connection/driver on the PVR350) it would seam that I will have
to find a different remote! Bummer....I'd grown attached to the grey remote.

Has anyone had experience running a StreamZap remote with the current
rev of LIRC?

-Kenneth
