Same problem here. I think gentoo configure apache with one default 
vhost and include a config file into httpd.conf. So settings in 
httpd.conf has no effect.
Maybe it is a good idea to add a hint into README, to look out for 
vhosts if it is not working. Anyway, new mythweb is nice ;-)
