I have recently updated my Gentoo system and now I cannot
use the mythweb interface.

When I try to connect using:

http://localhost:8080/mythweb/

I only get list of files and folders in the
/var/www/localhost/htdocs/mythweb/ in the browser.

When I try directly:
 http://localhost:8080/mythweb/mythweb.php

I got a Database Setup Error:

<<
The database environment variables are not correctly set in the
included .htaccess file. Please read through the comments included
in the file and set up the db_* environment variables correctly.
Some possible solutions are to make sure that mod_env is enabled
in httpd.conf, as well as having followed the instructions in the
README about the AllowOverride settings.

But my db_* variables in the .htaccess file seem to be OK.
I can log in with mysql and I am able to access mythconverge table.

I have reemerged both dev-php/php and dev-php/mod_php. It does not
help.

Before update everything worked just fine - I've never had any problems.

I am not too much familiar with php, but it seems that I must learn it
to find where the problem is.

Thanks for any kind of help

Marcin
