run '/sbin/modinfo <module>' where module is the name of your DVB
module currently loaded. Should tell you version number, module
parameters etc.

Not quite sure, maybe the 0.19/module combo does not support this? If
you run tzap with a valid channels.conf file from the console, do you
get BER numbers then?
