But, you had a much better chance at success from the start. Granted
that doesn't help you if you're one of the lucky ones that loses the
gamble but if nothing else, you are likely to be closer to winning
and since it is just a Debian release, the troubleshooting is pretty
standard. I still say that even in the broken case, it gets you
closer to the final goal. And, you just have to do the homework you
otherwise would have had to do using one of the other distros. it's
going to still be a net win on average. And the Wiki and forums are
pretty good about having ways to diagnose it. Even the general list
(this one) will prove helpful.
