[mythtv-users] Scrambled video - AVerTV GO 007 FM (saa7134)

I just got an avertv go 007 and I am getting scrambled video (there are
lines and colors on the screen, you really can't make anything out).  I
can tell that it is using the right input (svideo) from my cable box,
because when I change the channel the scrambled video pauses & changes
too.

The saa7134 driver seems to be properly detecting the card, I checked in
the header file and the card number is right (dmesg output shows the right
one too).

I can boot to win-xp and run the avertv application and get good video
quality on the same input so it would not appear to be a hardware issue.

Anyone have any ideas?
