Yeah, I agree. Perhaps the preview window size should be a setting. Not 
sure how one would go about integrating that with
the theme engine though. Maybe local changes are the answer? Perhaps a 
theme generator driven by Make?
`make --preview-window-size=large`

Do the themes support any sort of variables currently? I've noticed that 
it's annoying duplicating the same number in 4 or 5
different places. You never know when you'll miss one. Constants would 
be nice.

And maybe it's not a big deal and I should just keep running my local 
changes. :)
