[mythtv-users] KnoppMyth R5A26 and Hauppauge Nova-T

I have purchased the Hauppauge Nova-t card to be used in my mythtv system because I have read that it is well supported and works best for DVB in the UK.

However after installing the KnoppMyth R5A26 it does not recognise the model and does not set up the card properly.

The extract from dmesg is :-

however when I come to configure the card in mythtv-setup and select DVB as the card it does not recognise it.

what am I doing wrong ?

and how can I fix it ?

any help will be much appreciated.
