A remote would help quite a bit actually. I've set up mine and I  
never have to touch the keyboard. Full control from across the room  
is nice. :) The only time I ever touch the keyboard is when I enter a  
search phrase.

Also keep in mind that there are major UI changes in the works (from  
what I've read, anyway).
