Copy it, let the external video manager handle it.

Just use VLC or MPlayerOSX. VLC has no problem with it, even in the  
NUV container. It also plays the RTJPEG stuff. You can also use it to  
export the video into an MPEG container, be it PS, TS, or whatever.  
Piece of cake. Take it to someone who uses OS X and has a MythBox.  
VLC and MPlayerOSX should handle the jobs without a problem.
