if i were gonna do this i wouldn't even think about livetv.  in the
long run i think it will be less expensive to just get one tuner for
ever channel and just record everything.  unless you get a massive
amount of channels i think this would be better.  than you don't have
to worry about livetv or scheduling, your users can just go and watch
whats on.  if you give them all small medimvps or soemthing like that
it would be fairly straightforward to support just that i would think.

at least that's probably how i would go about it if i were gonna do
this.  the only thing you'll need in massive supply would be disc
space but that is one of the cheaper components right now and gets
cheaper every day.
