[mythtv-users] LIRC and 2.6.17 on Fedora Core 4

I've just come across an interesting problem with an upgrade to the
latest kernel (2.6.17) on Fedora Core 4.

None of the number keys (0-9) work on my remote control!  The rest of
the keys work, including the hash and the star, but the numbers don't
register.

The remote is the grey Hauppauge one and it connects to a Nova-T DVB card.

I used irw to check that things are communicating, and all of the
buttons produce an output, except the numbers!

I've gone back to 2.6.16 for now, but does anyone have a clue what's
happened to my remote?  I've had a look over the kernel change logs, but
am unable to decipher or recognise anything to do with my DVB cards or
Infra-Red.
