Umm, why? Isn't irsend a standalone application? I mean I can for example
have a cronjob that does irsend to start my TV without having any other
application running, or?

I relly love the possibility to do a CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE to restart the
X-server with my keyboard, is that possible with a lirc-configuration?
