However, there's no reason to actually SEE the window manager.  Depending on
which you use, there should be a way to configure it so it pops up for a
split second, and then your mythfrontend pops up.

As an example, I have this in ~/.xinitrc

#Sleep is there because there were issues of the frontend trying to pop up
before it was fully initialized
sleep 5
mythfrontend -l .mythlog &
blackbox
####


You probably also want a graphical loader, so you see a nice progress bar
instead of a long series of Blah blah [OK],  I'm not sure how to add one of
those on, because Mandriva comes preconfigured.
