[mythtv-users] FC5 VIA XvMC What Am I Missing?

Jake,

You say you're on FC5 but 2.6.16-1.2111 was an FC4
kernel update.  Did you install it in FC5?  I'd be
happy to find ANY kernel or fix for the stutters with
the Openchrome/Unichrome Pro chipset.

Also, have you tried disabling the audio (just use
/dev/null or some other nonsense in Setup >> Playback.
 I find my video is perfectly smooth when Myth doesn't
connect to an audio device.

Did you compile DRM as described on the Openchrome
website?  I've not had the best luck with 2.6.17 and
DRM.  It locks on shutdown with FC5-64 and doesn't
work at all with FC5-32.
