Thanks Guys for your replies. I will show your answers to my wife so she
understands a little better. I fully understand the VCR side of things.

I think the problem I have with the WAF level is it is taking so long to
get mine running. Once I get over the hurdle of all the different
tv_grab_au scenarios and actually get one of them working with both FTA
and Fox Digital, I'll be able to show her something. There is alot of
grumbling at the moment over the money spent of "those TV card thngs".
One thing that she does approve of is that I said we could convert our
VCR recordings to Myth, that at least got a better response!
