No. Read the last paragraph in the capture card section "For
bttv-based cards (older WinTV-Go, AVerMedia AVerTV Studio, many
others)". What capture card(s) are you using?

You're hearing the 'live' audio from the tuner - what you need to do
is mute the line-in input that the capture card is feeding and set it
up as the recording source - this way MythTV will capture the audio
normally, but you will only hear the audio when watching LiveTV or a
recording.
