Yes, perhaps it is the 2x bob deinterlacing?  I have been through this
a lot over the past year and a half.  Maybe the motherboard (Asus P4P800-VM)
is just a piece of junk :)  The S/PDIF works so well on it though, I really
wish I could get it to work properly at 60 fps.
