[mythtv-users] plextor setup on T41, modular xorg

Hi,

I've had much greater success setting the plextor on the laptop.

# dmesg | grep 7007

At this point, I seem to have two hang-ups.  I get a "Failed to open
card" error on the Scan Type page.  It shows no video source and no
capture card.  If I go to the Capture Cards page, I see everything setup
OK.  I have default input on Tuner as I plan to use the plextor to tune
TV (antenna at the moment).  For video source, I set my zap2it account
information under N.A. DataDirect.

The other issue is that when I run mythfilldatabase, I eventually get:

This seems odd since I've left everything pointing to localhost or
127.0.0.1 per the defaults.


Any ideas?
