If they are MPEG2 recordings then you might be able to use ProjectX
which demuxes the MPEG2 files into separate audio and video files.
This works on my DVB-T MPEG2 recordings. Not sure about other MPEG2
recordings such as from a Haupaugge MPEG2 encoder.
