All my recordings derived from pvr350 and Airstar hd5000 cards have 
converted fine with nforce2, 3 and 4 mobos. Could you put your .asoundrc 
and a short recording online somewhere? I'd be happy to test over here 
on my nf3 FE/BE and nf2 FE using both your and my .asoundrc
