To use On Demand requires interacting with the menus on the cable box.
That means you would need some way of sending those signals to the box.
An IR blaster and some scripts might make it possible, but I'm not
entirely sure what the end goal is here. You want to be able to have
Myth automatically record On Demand shows at a time other than the
immediate present? If that's what you want, you could achieve it by
first interacting with the box to select your show (have to do that
anyway), and then setting up a manual recording in Myth to capture the
output from the box at the time your show will play.
