Hi,

I am having the same issue as a couple of other people that have posted
previously, their thread can be found here:
http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2006-February/123520.html
<http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2006-February/123520.html>

I have a different hardware setup but the same log output.

My backend is Fedora Core 4, Kernel 2.6.16, MythTV 19.1.
My frontend is Xebian 1.1.4, MythTV 19.1.
MythTV has been apt and yum updated as of 21 June 2006.
Watching LiveTV on the backend has no issues.
Watching pre-recorded videos on the frontend has no issues.
2GB RAM backend.
Plenty of harddrive space all round.

When attempting to watch LiveTV from the frontend the following scenario
happens (snippet from the archived post above):
The backend starts recording 2501_20060223125151.mpg, the frontend starts to
play 2501_20060223125151.mpg, then the backend switches to recording
2501_20060223125204.mpg, and the frontend timesout reading from
2501_20060223125151.mpg.

For those interested, I only went with Xebian because I cannot get rid of
the stutter in LiveTV when using xbmcmythtv. I have spent several weeks
trying to figure that one out, I was hoping that Xebian with a proper
frontend would solve all my problems.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Eddie.
