[mythtv-users] MythTV, Fedora 4, PVR-350 Install: Jared Wilson's Process

I appreciate all of the great responses I am getting, but I think I need to 
regroup on where I am.

My setup is to output the svideo and audio from the PVR-350 into my stereo 
receiver.

I have been able to output video and audio from my cable through my receiver 
and out onto my TV and speakers.  So that is great news.  I am guessing that 
means that ivtv is installed.  I used this command:

/usr/bin/ivtvfbctl --device=/dev/fb1 --globalalpha=off --localalpha=on

ISSUE 1) Unfortunately the picture quality is pretty bad and the audio works 
but has a high pitch whine to it.  Any ideas on how to rectify those would 
be greatly appreciated.  The settings for my card when using 
/usr/bin/ivtvctl -a are at the bottom of this message.

ISSUE 2) Now I am attempting this section of the instructions:

"Running X on the PVR-350's TV-Out-"

The instructions say to: "rebuild your system's initial ram disk to include 
the drivers for the 350's output" and I am supposed to use:

wget https://svn.wilsonet.com/svn/mythtvology/trunk/mkinitrd-ivtv.patch

However, I get an error that it is unable to establish SSL Connection.

Any ideas on this?  Perhpas this link is outdated....
