Does it try to be smart about certain things?   For example, once you
have detected that there is a logo on screen, logo detection should
be very accurate (understanding that logos fade-in and fade-out
in certain cases) and thus get a lot of points.  But of course if logos
aren't there, you won't get anything from them.   Or are there cases
where they forget to put up the logo after break?

(It amazes me that some things are not automated.  For example, the
switch from SD to HD is not automated.  Quite often they will come back
from a commercial break with the program in SD and then you will see a
reset and we're back to HD.)
