Thanks for the help. I had to set it to ALSA:default and set iec958 option in kmix to on, and it works, then i set the iec958 in xine to just say default and everything worked!! The only probem I have now is I have to ckeck the iec958 raw option in kmix everytime I load and auto login does not work with fc5, but that is another issue.. -Gregg
