[mythtv-users] New Mac Mini, ultimate MythTV HD frontend?

Based on Apple's own requirement, the duo core (1.66 ghz) macmini is
not sufficient to decode HD resolution H.264.

So, macmini is not HD frontend. And I didnt see anywhere on Apple site
that they are touting it as high definition frontend
(frontrow/iLife.etc etc)

Here is some info are gathered from their website

For 1280x720 (720p) video at 24-30 frames per second:
QuickTime 7 for Mac OS X:

    * 1.8 GHz PowerMac G5 or faster Macintosh computer; 1.83 GHz Intel
Core Duo or faster
    * At least 256MB of RAM
    * 64 MB or greater video card

For 1920x1080 (1080p) video at 24 frames per second:
QuickTime 7 for Mac OS X:

    * Dual 2.0 GHz PowerMac G5 or faster Macintosh computer;  2.0 GHz
Intel Core Duo or faster
    * At least 512MB of RAM
    * 128MB or greater video card
