If your program listings disappeared, I'd guess you're using 0.18.x
because 0.19 will not delete listings when no data is received. If your
program listings did not disappear and only your scheduled recordings
did, I'd guess you're using 0.19 and MySQL 5.0 (

0.19 doesn't delete the program listings, which is probably a better
approach so you don't lose the program information.

TMS said they would try to get a user-preferences feature that allowed
users to specify how to handle new channels, but haven't done so, yet (2
years later I still have hope). I know what you're going through,
though. As a DISH network subscriber, I've had to change my lineup
literally hundreds of times over the last 2 years (every time any local
channel from any market area in the country is added to DISH, it's added
to my lineup--even though the FCC won't let me subscribe to a non-local
"local" channel). IMHO, it's a small price to pay for the quality of
data I get from TMS. :)

And, on the bright side, when you see the new channel in your listings,
you know it's time to update your lineup at zap2it to help them with
their bandwidth/processing requirements. Oh, and I'm sure they'll add
the feature soon, now, since I'm about to drop my DISH service to go
with local HDTV channels only. ;)
