Yeah, livetv is jacked up for a lot of people in 0.19. My wife uses it a
lot and has been
expressing her frustration frequently of late. It's not pleasant, but I
endure in the name of
progress.

I'm running the 0.19 SVN branch from just a few days ago on Gentoo
(custom ebuild).
LiveTV issues I still experience:
1.) Pause, channel change operations seem to mess up the video. When it
gets messed up,
it looks like it only displays the third or fourth frame. Very
choppy playback.
This issue is new, I think. I'm not sure if it started when I
upgraded last, or if it started when
I stopped using XvMC though. It's even more annoying than the
end-of-show issue below.
2.) The end-of-show crash/hang/black screen issue is less frequent, but
still happens from time to time.
3.) LiveTV takes a really really long time to start up sometimes. 10-12
seconds.

Anyone know if any of these issues have been fixed recently? :)

Issues fixed completely by the version of SVN I'm running (I think):
1.) Black screen when running LiveTV the first time.
