Not really.

 The MacBook has a significantly faster processor than the Mini, its
graphics card has dedicated memory, and the tests were done using Quicktime
and VLC - not MythFrontend.  (Not to mention that the reviewer said CPU
usage during playback was about 50% - on a dual core machine).
