[mythtv-users] Ringbuffer creation problems / eno: Input/output error

I have started having strange problems with NFS file access. The backend mounts it's video storage with:

10.7.11.1:/mnt/vault/video /mnt/vault/video
nfs»·······rw,async,hard,intr,nfsvers=3,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,tcp 0 1

However since the last couple of days I am receiving error messages
like:

TFW, Error: Opening file '/mnt/vault/video/Recordings/1011_20060304130451.mpg'.

and

TVRec(1) Error: RingBuffer '/mnt/vault/video/Recordings/1011_20060304125914.mpg' not open...
TVRec(1) Error: CreateLiveTVRingBuffer() failed
TVRec(1) Error: Failed to create RingBuffer 1

It appears that mythbackend thinks it cannot write to the filesystem
even though su'ing to that user and doing writes shows that it is
possible to touch and read a file.

I have tried a couple of different pre 0.19 and post 0.19 version but
all have the same problem. I have checked my NFS exports and they have:

/mnt/vault/video 10.15.11.0/255.255.255.0(ro,async,insecure)

Has anyone come across this or can anyone suggest other items to check.
Unfortunately I can't remember any significant changes that may have
triggered this.

Oh also checked that there is free space.
