The wording was more like "a couple of ages", so your week must have
been quite long I guess ;)

ATrpms supports via/xvmc since at least 1 1/2 years, maybe even more.

Must have been something else. Maybe partial upgrades, e.g. not
allowing yum/smart/apt to upgrade everything.
