[mythtv-users] Search Beta-Tester for a script (ref. Ticket #790)

Hello.

I read Ticket #790 and was inspired to write something.

The Idea of the ticket.
It would be nice if one could merge all the IMDB-informations from the 
MythVideo-database into the videofiles. So you can take all the informations 
with the file to another mythbox.

I found a way... the Matroska-Container. You do NOT need to recode your stuff, 
you just merge the infos and the cover into the file like Id3-Tags. (The 
output is a .mkv-File with your old divx/xvid/mp3/ac3/Subtitles....whatever 
in it). You can Play them with xine and mplayer. 
The Merging-speed depends on the speed of your harddrive.

You need the Matroska-stuff:

Ok... Long Story short: I wrote two skripts, which do the job and I need some 
Beta-testers. Hints and patches are welcome.
One script reads the informations from the database and write it to the file 
and the other does the same in the other direction (much faster than the 
first one).

TODO: (Patches and hints welcome) 
- Test and improve UTF-8 support (I couldnt test it myself and you have to 
configure the skript)
- Only the special-chars äöü and ß are suported... improve that
- Improve the way to configure the scripts
- ...
- Write more TODO's
- Ask the ffmpeg-guys for a better Matroska-support. :)
