That's great info..  It parallels what I did, with a few minor
differences.    I was actually just documenting the same thing on the MythTV
wiki:   http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Myth_on_Mac_x86

One thing on your configure flags:  I would probably remove the
"--enable-mac-accel" option.  That stuff is highly experimental, and I don't
think it is complete yet.   It is a reverse engineering of Apple's MPEG2
acceleration APIs.
