And you thought right. The PVR-500 does not have TV-Out. It has a  
pair of TV-Ins, though.

Well, then you were on the right track when asking about the PVR-350.

No clue where to find them in the SF Bay Area (I live waaaayy the  
hell up here in Snowy Minnesota) but the net might just be the best  
option. I don't like buying off of the internet either, but for my  
second tuner for my MythTV system, I'm planning to mail-order it  
since I can get it cheaper than at a store (as if I could find a  
store that sells it in the first place!)
