[mythtv-users] linux dvd drive questions and dmesg errors

This is probably a dumb question, but how do I stop this from happening?
Every time I stick a DVD in the mythtv frontend I constantly get these
errors.

cdrom: This disc doesn't have any tracks I recognize!
cdrom: This disc doesn't have any tracks I recognize!
cdrom: This disc doesn't have any tracks I recognize!

This is my /etc/fstab
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hda1 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/hda5 none swap sw 0 0
/dev/hdb1 /mnt/share ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/hdc /media/cdrom0 auto ro,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0

Also, what is the key for DVD/cdrom monitoring in mythtv? I don't have
any window managers installed, just X if that makes any difference. I
want to use the mythdvdnav thing with mplayer but since it doesn't
detect DVD's ever when I click to play a DVD, it just goes straight to
the movie. (atleast thats what I thought was happening)

I must admit, I've never known much about removable drives under linux.
I've used them for years just using the mount, umount, eject commands.
But it is very annoying to have to do something like this with a thing
like mythtv. And all of the information I've found online never really
gives an up to date for 2.6.x kernels with definitive answers to any of
it. Like how do you make it work like windows where you just have to put
the cd in, it works, and then you can hit the eject button on the drive
to get it back out? I've looked at a automounter thing made by sun, but
that seemed to be a very half assed approach to this question. Whats the
real answer or can you point me to it?

Thanks

-Mike
