Hi all,

MythTV (always) segfaults when I try to playback recorded TV - or watch
live TV - with xvmc.
Here's output when I try to watch a recorded show:

MPlayer plays fine using xvmc - it plays MythTV's .nuv files ok, to a
noticeable improvement and lower CPU usage than without the xvmc options
(on my Celeron 500).

Software setup:
Fedora Core 3, originally installed as per Jarod's guide, various things
updated
(official) Kernel 2.6.11
xorg 6.8.1
nVidia binary drivers 7676 (as recommended for xvmc use in the 0.19
release notes)
MythTV 0.19 from atrpms

Hardware:
Celeron 500
ABit BP6 mobo (single proc for the moment)
512mb RAM
nVidia GeForce 4 MX
SBLive soundcard

Additional config info:

I have a 'manually cobbled together' dual head switching setup because I
have a 4:3 TV connected to SVIDEO and a 16:9 projector connected to VGA.
These are set up as separate X desktops - no xinerama or twinview. I
have scripts which switch the DISPLAY env. var and manually update the
GUI sizes (1280x720 or 720x576) in mysql before mythfrontend is started.
The VGA is always X display :0.0, I have been trying to get xvmc to work
on this first, then I'll check it works on 0:1 (TV). As I said above
mplayer works fine, fullscreen or windowed, using xvmc.

Any suggestions?

Cheers
Neil
