I don't have E4 set up on sky but I do have it on freeview. I grab to a
file and then use mythfilldatabase to update mysql as follows:
/usr/bin/tv_grab_uk_rt --config-file /home/tv/.mythtv/freeview.xmltv
--output /home/tv/.mythtv/freeview.listings --quiet
mythfilldatabase --file 3 -1 /home/tv/.mythtv/freeview.listings
My freeview.xmltv file is :
channel channel5.co.uk
channel sky-news.sky.com
channel parliament.bbc.co.uk
channel e4.channel4.com
channel channel4.com
channel itv2.itv.co.uk
channel itv3.itv.co.uk
channel meridian.tv.co.uk
channel news-24.bbc.co.uk
channel south.bbc2.bbc.co.uk
channel south.bbc1.bbc.co.uk
channel ukhistory.tv
channel knowledge.bbc.co.uk
channel choice.bbc.co.uk
I have the listings visible in myth; but I'd be pretty sure that I've
never recorded from E4! Everything else works in this way with no
trouble......
