[mythtv-users] 2 instances of frontend on bootup

Ok...

I know I thought I was less of a linux newbie than this, but I'm
stumped nonetheless.

I seem to always have two instances of the frontend going when I
reboot. I know that one of them is started due to a script in my .kde/
Autorun/ folder, but I have no clue what is causing the other
instance to start. If I remove the line in my script that launches
mythwelcome, I get only one instance of the frontend. However, when
it crashes or exits, it doesn't fall back to the mythwelcome screen
like I want (probably because it is launching mythfrontend directly).

How can I track this down??

I'm running FC4 and used Jarod's guide to do the setup.

I should also mention that I haven't had this problem always. It is
something that seems to have developed recently. I can't say when for
sure. It could have been the upgrade to .19 but I'm not sure. I don't
have to reboot the machine nearly as often anymore!!
