[mythtv-users] ivtv-0.4.2 and linux 2.6.16 fails to tune

FYI:

I just upgraded to 2.6.16, and found that my recordings with my PVR-250
were on the wrong channel.  Going back to 2.6.15.4 corrected the issue.

For channels going through the cable box and using the composite input
on the PVR card, everything worked fine.  For channels using the
internal tuner, it was stuck on the channel last tuned before the
upgrade.  After power cycling the system, it was stuck on static.

I'm running with Gentoo and ivtv-0.4.2.

I also noticed that lirc-0.8.0 is broken with 2.6.16.  (Googling found a
patch on the lirc mailing list; I didn't try it.)
