[mythtv-users] What Haupage PVR-x50 to get?

Another item to think about in the 250/350 vs. 500/150:

As stated above, the "MCE" naming is just packaging.

If you need a remote, the 500/150 does not come with one, the 250/350s do,
and an IR sensor. That said, it's not a very nice remote, and the sensor is
rather ugly. But it works. Well.

On the other hand, the PVR250s and 350s run much hotter than their 500/150
counterparts, in my experience. I'm building a new system now after 3 years
of running 2x250s, 1x500, 1x1394 and going to 2x500 and firewire onboard to
manage heat in the case. Since I'll be loosing my IR port, I'm adding a
Thermaltake Media Lab (iMon)... it's the same remote and LCD display as the
Silverstone cases.
