If you're really lucky, you might find the RPM's that created your backend
are still on that machine.

I embarked on a similar journey, wanting to set up a new backend without
disturbing the 0.18.1 box I already had. As a linux newbie, I stumbled upon
/var/cache/apt/(something or other) where I discovered the RPM's that had
been used to set up the existing box. I guess they were still there as I
had not updated. Anyhow I grabbed a copy of these, and installed them one
at a time until I got the system working. A nice touch, I my case, was that
I didn't need most of the frontend plugins so I just left the out.

If that doesn't sort you out, I could probably give you a copy, if I can
learn the necessary skills (seriously! I am a lazy sod, and have only
managed to pick up just enough linux to build my Myth boxes, mainly from
Jarrod's guide).

Yeah, I already checked there and I don't anymore. Pretty sure I had told
apt to clean that out some time ago.

If you could get me a copy, that would be great.

You would just need to do cp -r /var/cache/apt/archives/myth* ~
then tar cvf rpms.tar *.rpm
then gzip rpms.tar

Then depending on the size could just email it to me or we'll find a
different way.

It comes out at about 27 M. I did put it under Apache on my BE machine, but
for some reason it can't be accessed from the net at the moment.

Is it to big to e-mail?
